Insane climate change, uncontrollably dangerous global warming, wars, corruption, hate, injustices, unnecessary massacres and just a lack of love and democracy...but there's still more!
The Earth isn't dying but instead it's being killed,no...slaughtered,nation by nation, heart by heart.
One could go on for hours talking about how the world's gone rogue or where we went wrong with it.Whether we choose to blame the government, religion, society, norms or people in general rattling on and on about who's at fault and scapegoat won't necessarily help our situation.
One would say,"As we live our final moments on this Earth we should live it to the fullest."
but that doesn't solve any of the problems we're facing today. How will completing a bucket list stop the melting habitats of Antarctica? How will taking tons of selfies of wherever you go and whatever you do save the turtles that are dying everyday because of all the plastic and straws that are floating among our coral reefs? How will bungee jumping off of the Rio Grande Bridge of New Mexico help fight against all the undemocratic and unethical actions of workplaces in which extort immigrants which put their lives in jeopardy just to feed their families?
It's time we forget about "living our best lives" and start working towards securing some "life" since we've neglected it for far too long and now we're paying the consequences with our literal lives.
We need to start working towards building an empire, not of our own,but one that should benefit the generations to come and work towards healing and giving birth to a variety of new ideologies of self love, self care, appreciating and preserving the beauty of all nature and mankind. How long will we play the blame game,it's about time we played some real life minecraft and faced Herobrine together. As corny as the concept of "Teamwork makes the dream work" sounds,if we continue fighting by our differences, who's to say we won't end up destroying the last breaths the Earth has left?
This whole unjustified "prejudice attitude" routine we have planted in our hearts is stunting our growth as people whom are capable of change and to be honest,it's not making much of a difference either,it's just killing us and the Earth faster.
As we've celebrated our 50th Earth Day,let's bring about some positive radiation and meditation upon our land in which we've borrowed from the Children of the Earth and start working towards a pure generation.
Happy Earth Day!
It's always a pleasure🌈🌟
deep sister. 🙏
